Joe McNiel, DDS

Dr. Joe joined the practice in October of 2014. A graduate of Neenah High School, Dr. Joe attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for undergrad. He graduated with a dual degree in Biology, Society and Environment as well as Physiology. He was accepted to Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in May of 2012. Upon graduating, Dr. Joe worked at Partnership Community Health Center in Appleton. He felt fortunate to obtain significant experience while serving those in need. With the opportunity to join his dad in practice, Dr. Joe is thrilled to continue providing quality and compassionate dental care at McNiel Family Dentistry. Dr. Joe is a member of the American and Wisconsin Dental Assocations. Dr. Joe has taken many Continuing Education courses and takes pride in being up to date on the newest standards and technology. Outside of work, Dr. Joe enjoy's spending time with his wife Jena, daughter Harper, sons Sawyer and Calvin, and their dog Arlo. Dr. Joe's loves spending time rock climbing both indoors and outdoors.

Jean - Office Manager

Jean is a 1997 graduate of the Dental Assisting program at Fox Valley Technical College. She joined our dental team in March of 1999. She enjoys greeting every patient at the front desk with a warm smile and likes to get to know them through friendly conversation. She uses her dental experience and knowledge to assist patients with scheduling, treatment planning, insurance estimating and handles all our accounts receivable. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, baking and hanging out with family and friends.  She also likes spending time with her husband Dean and their children Tasha and Todd or playing fetch with their pooch Cooper.

Becky - Office Assistant

Becky is a 2015 graduate of the Dental Assisting program at Fox Valley Technical College. She joined our team in May 2021.  She is definitely a jack of all trades!  Becky spends most of her days up front greeting patients with a smile and helping them schedule appointments, answer questions regarding treatment plans or insurance.  She can also be found helping out in the back office and assisting the doctors when needed.  Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her husband Mike and their two girls, Jada and Kyra either boating, shopping or doing family dinners.  She also keeps herself quite busy running the girls to gymnastics and their 4H events. 

Lucy - Dental Hygienist

Lucy graduated from NWTC in Dental Hygiene in 1998. She started working for Dr. Mark McNiel in October 1998. She takes much pride in providing her patients with proper education and techniques necessary to show off an incredible smile. She actively continues to educate herself by completing continuing education and also participates in two study groups for othodontics and periodontics. She loves the team and co-workers at McNiel Family Dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys watching football, reading and spending time with friends and family - especially her two grand children! She also enjoys traveling around the state, country and even the world to various Irish festivals.

Sam - Dental Hygienist

Sam started at our office as a Dental Assistant shortly after graduating from FVTC in October 2013. She worked part-time with us as she continued her education and completed the Dental Hygiene program at FVTC in May 2017. As a Dental Hygienist, Sam strives to make sure our patients are comfortable throughout their dental cleanings, while ensuring they are educated with the proper techniques to create a happier, healthier smile. Since beginning at our office, Sam truly appreciates the relationships that she's been able to create with her patients, and takes pleasure in watching her patients and their families grow. Outside of work, Sam prides herself in being a mom to her two girls, Emma and Addie. She cherishes the time spent creating memories as a family, with the two girls and her husband, Ben. When she's not chasing their toddlers, she's busy running around after their two Labrador retrievers, Leinie and Nellie.  In quieter moments, Sam enjoys getting wrapped up in a good book and the tranquility of their creek up north.

Lisa - Dental Hygienist

Lisa graduated from Northcentral Technical College with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1987 and received her Anesthetic Certification in 2001.  She has been a hygienist with Dr. Stoll since 1991 until his retirement in 2016 when Dr. Mick purchased the practice.  She became part of our dental team when Dr. Mick and his staff moved into our office in October 2021.  Lisa is also an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Lisa is married, has three adult children and one grandson.  Lisa and her husband enjoy many outdoor activities including camping, hiking and bicycling. They enjoy traveling to visit their children who live in other states.  Since they no longer have a dog of their own, they like to dog-sit for family and friends.   

Tracy - Dental Assistant

Tracy graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Fox Valley Technical College in 2001. She started working at McNiel Family Dentistry in June of 2001. Tracy enjoys working with such an amazing team. She strives to make sure that the patient is comfortable and to make their dental experience great. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys watching Packers games and listening to live music. She loves to spend time with family and friends and her beloved pup Ollie. She loves going to the family cottage to go fishing, boating on the Wolf River or watching her nephews' sporting events.

JJ - Dental Assistant

JJ graduated from the Dental Assisting program at FVTC in May of 2019 and is currently enrolled in the Dental Hygiene program.  She joined our office in June 2019. JJ enjoys making patients feel at ease during their appointments. She loves to see our patients gain confidence with their smiles! Outside of the office, JJ is very passionate about singing and playing guitar. She enjoys spending time with family in her hometown of Eagle River. She also loves spending time with her fiancée Jake and chasing their busy little daughter Julia around.

Abby - Dental Assistant

Abby graduated in May 2018 from the Dental Assisting Program at NWTC.  She joined our dental family in June 2023.  She enjoys working alongside the doctor during dental procedures but she really enjoys chatting and getting to know our patients.  She and her husband, Zach like to spoil their furbaby Maggie.  She likes to spend her free time with her family, reading and taking trips to Disney (she's vacationed there 13 times!!!)  Trust us - if you're looking for any information or tips on Disney be sure to ask Abby - she's your Disney pro!
