Joe McNiel, DDS

Dr. Joe joined the practice in October of 2014. A graduate of Neenah High School, Dr. Joe attended the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for undergrad. He graduated with a dual degree in Biology, Society and Environment as well as Physiology. He was accepted to Marquette University School of Dentistry and graduated in May of 2012. Upon graduating, Dr. Joe worked at Partnership Community Health Center in Appleton. He felt fortunate to obtain significant experience while serving those in need. With the opportunity to join his dad in practice, Dr. Joe is thrilled to continue providing quality and compassionate dental care at McNiel Family Dentistry. Dr. Joe is a member of the American and Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Joe has taken many Continuing Education courses and takes pride in being up to date on the newest standards and technology. Outside of work, Dr. Joe enjoys spending time with his wife Jena, daughter Harper, sons Sawyer and Calvin, and their dogs Arlo and Sonny. Dr. Joe's loves spending time rock climbing both indoors and outdoors.

Jean - Office Manager

Jean, a 1997 alumnus of Fox Valley Technical College's Dental Assisting program, has been an indispensable member of our dental team since March 1999. With her warm and engaging demeanor, she has built meaningful relationships with patients, promoting positivity and joy throughout the office. She uses her dental expertise to excel in various roles, including scheduling, treatment planning, insurance estimating and accounts receivable management. Outside of work, she finds joy in gardening, baking and spending quality time with loved ones. She and her husband Dean enjoy hunting, collaborating on home projects or just relaxing on the deck.  They enjoy spending leisure time with their daughter Tasha and her significant other Brian, and his son James. As well as listening to their son Todd's various musical performances. And of course there's her beloved fur baby Cooper.

Becky - Office Assistant

Becky graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Fox Valley Technical College in 2015.  She joined our team in May 2021.  Her versatility is a notable asset.  Becky dedicates her days up front to greeting patients with a smile and assisting with appointment scheduling and addressing treatment and insurance inquiries.  Additionally, she provides support in the back office and assists the doctors as needed.  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Tyler, and her two daughters, Jada and Kyra.  They enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hunting, fishing and hiking.  She also keeps herself quite busy running her girls to gymnastics and their 4H events. 

Lucy - Dental Hygienist

Lucy graduated from NWTC in Dental Hygiene in 1998. She started working for Dr. Mark McNiel in October 1998. She takes much pride in providing her patients with proper education and techniques necessary to show off an incredible smile. She actively continues to educate herself by completing continuing education and also participates in two study groups for orthodontics and periodontics. She loves the team and co-workers at McNiel Family Dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys watching football, reading and spending time with friends and family - especially her two grand children! She also enjoys traveling around the state, country and even the world to various Irish festivals.

Sam - Dental Hygienist

Sam started at our office as a Dental Assistant shortly after graduating from FVTC in October 2013. She worked part-time with us as she continued her education and completed the Dental Hygiene program at FVTC in May 2017. As a Dental Hygienist, Sam strives to make sure our patients are comfortable throughout their dental cleanings, while ensuring they are educated with the proper techniques to create a happier, healthier smile. Since beginning at our office, Sam truly appreciates the relationships that she's been able to build with her patients, and takes pleasure in watching her patients and their families grow. Outside of work, Sam prides herself in being a mom to her three kids: Emma, Addie and Luke. She cherishes the time spent creating memories as a family, with the three kids and her husband, Ben. When she's not chasing their littles, she's busy running around after their two Labrador retrievers, Leinie and Nellie.  In quieter moments, Sam enjoys getting wrapped up in a good book and the tranquility of their creek up north.

Lisa - Dental Hygienist

Lisa graduated from Northcentral Technical College in 1987 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and earned her Anesthetic Certification in 2001. She takes a whole-person approach to oral health, educating patients on how a healthy mouth supports overall well-being.  Over her many years in practice, Lisa has cherished the lasting relationships she's built with her patients. She is married with three adult children and one grandson.  Outside of work, Lisa and her husband enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, bicycling as well as spending quality time with family.    

Stormie - Dental Hygienist

Stormie, a native of South Dakota, graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene.  She met her husband while they were both serving in the military.  They relocated to Neenah in 2017 to be closer to her husband's family.  She joined our practice in the summer of 2024.  Her goal is to ensure every patient feels acknowledged and valued.  She strives to make each dental visit a positive experience.  Outside of work. Stormie enjoys attending her sons' football games, waling her dog and cut-flower gardening.  

Taylor - Dental Hygienist

Taylor has been a dedicated dental professional since graduating as a Dental Assistant at Fox Valley Technical College in 2018 and furthering her career as a Dental Hygienist and graduating in 2024.  She is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and confident about their smiles.  She believes that dental care is not just about clean teeth, but about building trust and empowering patients with the knowledge they need for lifelong oral health.  Outside of of the office, she enjoys cooking, walks with her husband and yellow lab, family time, house projects and watching sports.  She strives to bring the same energy and care to her personal life as she does to her profession.  

Eryn - Dental Assistant

Eryn joined our team in May 2024.  She is truly a dedicated Dental Assistant with over five years of hands-on experience in providing compassionate, efficient care to our patients. Known for her attention to detail and positive attitude, Eryn enjoys creating a comfortable environment for everyone who walks through the door. Outside of the office, she loves golfing and traveling with her husband, spending time with their chocolate lab, and relaxing at the lake house.

KJ - Dental Assistant

KJ has been a Dental Assistant since 2018 having completed her training at  Lakeshore Technical College.  Originally was Sheboygan, she and her husband relocated to Appleton in 2022.  She joined our dental practice in July 2025.  She takes pleasure in engaging with patients and ensuring their comfort while in the office.  Outside of work, KJ loves tackling home improvement projects, boating with her husband and dog, and spending quality time with family and friends! 

Danielle - Dental Assistant

Danielle joined our dental team in 2022.  With six years of experience as a Dental Assistant, she is passionate about creating positive, comfortable experiences for every patient she meets. She takes pride in building genuine relationships and helping patients feel at ease throughout their dental visits. She enjoys seeing the confidence that comes with a transformed smile. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys working out, boating, and spending time with her family. She looks forward to meeting you!

Tina - Dental Assistant 

Tina is a graduate of North Western Technical College, where she earned a degree in Dental Assisting in 2016. She joined our practice in August 2025.  She is dedicated to helping patients feel at ease during their visits and strives to create a positive and comfortable experience at the dentist. Outside of work, Tina enjoys spending time with her husband, Ger, and their three children—Thielen, Yuliana, and Khai. She also loves being outdoors, taking walks, and creating lasting memories with her family.
